For this dress, I was inspired by the bright and colorful style of Marcy Harriell, so I’m calling this my Marcy dress! This surplice-style bodice is the member exclusive from Seamwork’s Kimmy and I lengthened the skirt to maxi length. The fabric is from House of Mami Wata and it’s a silky polyester Ankara print. Since I still have at least three more months of high temperatures, this light, breezy fabric is perfect for Southern summers. My sister said I look like a cool art teacher and I’m not mad at that description.
